Nights out with my husband are few and far between these days, so when we do get the opportunity to we like to try somewhere new. Tom’s Kitchen has opened a few months ago at Somerset House, we’d heard great things about Tom Aiken’s food and boy he didn’t disappoint. The restaurant layout is a bit unfortunate though as its broken up into 3 separate rooms which feels a bit disjointed. On their own the rooms are actually quite beautiful. We had the signature dish which is the Daylesford 7 hour confit lamb which was melt in the mouth tender. And we then shared a chocolate pot with most beautiful pistachio ice cream I’ve ever had. Nights like that are well worth the wait.
