I’ve been meaning to post a picture of our George Nelson bubble lamp, for like ever!
It’s safe to say it was the best buy ever! A big room needs a big light.

I just know we’ve made the right choice in lighting for our new bedroom when I see photo’s like this!

Our new bubble lamp has arrived YIPPEE! While I wait to put it up I wondered how these beautiful lights were made, and I’ve found these photo’s from a tour of the factory on the Modernica blog.

We need somewhere to keep our keys. This magnetic cloud by Duncan Shotton could be just the ticket!

This post has been a long time coming… Almost as long as it took us to send these cards out!

Why couldn’t we have just bought off-the-shelf thank you cards when Harper was born? Well, because we have a friend who has a Vandercook letterpress in his garage! I just love the look and feel of letterpress printing so we had to have a go…

Well done Daddy. And thank you Al.

Hendzel & Hunt are a new design studio specialising in the manufacture and design of bespoke cabinets and furniture. Pieces like their Pica-Pica watch cabinet are just beautiful.

They have a very interesting off shoot to their normal work which they’ve called ‘Made in Peckham’.

This range is built with sustainability in mind and is constructed from reclaimed and waste materials sourced from the streets of SE15, around their studio. These materials are up-cycled and made into very cool furniture.

I’m hosting a baby shower this weekend, and in all the preparation it’s got me thinking about my shower last year. I can’t believe I haven’t shared this amazing book which was written, designed and made by my sister and my best friend.

It’s full of the most amazing tips only mums would know!

As you can see it’s been well thumbed! Thank you Amy and Nicki (2 of the most awesome mums I know).

Which one shall we get? The grass roots drying rack? Or the Skiphop Splash rack?
